Graduation No.1 RS Course 4000/48

On 7th May 2009 LAC Andrew Moore-Vale, 26, a training Information and Communication Technologies Technician (ICTT) at the Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering (DCAE) Cosford, Wolverhampton, was awarded the Silver Salver an award that is presented to the ICTT who has displayed outstanding determination, contribution and personal achievement. This individual?s positive attitude, willingness to learn and excellent team working skills are evident from when he commenced training and have been highlighted by this airman. A pivotal member of the course Andrew displayed a very mature attitude during his training and has earned the respect of his peers and superiors alike.

With a good disciplinary record, Andrew?s enthusiasm has received recognition from Instructors, Trainee Development Co-ordinaters and Flight Commanders.

When asked what part of training he most enjoyed whilst based at DCAE Cosford, Andrew said ?I enjoyed the camaraderie that was a part of this course and the lifelong friends I have made throughout my time at DCAE Cosford.?. Andrew who hails from Cambridge, London, is due to serve at RAF Boulmer. Andrew is most looking forward to involving himself in the various sporting activities that RAF Boulmer has to offer and is relishing the chance to serve on operations in Afghanistan and having the chance to top up his tan.
