Fire engines
Back in 2012 we had a bit of drama in the Old High Street when one of the shops caught fire which threatened to spread to nearby old buildings.
This photo is just an excuse to tell you that a convoy of 22 fire engines and 2 lorries of equipment donated by fire services across the UK have just travelled down the M20 past my house towards Dover, heading for the war in Ukraine. These engines and thousands of pieces of equipment will supplement an initial delivery supplied by UK charity FIRE AID and the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) sent to the country on March 11.
