Orphourous
That ship you see is the Orphourous. I took this photo in 2012 and she had been stuck on the rocks since March 1998 when the vessel ran aground in heavy seas, during a voyage from Greece to Syria with a cargo of lumber. I don’t know what condition it is in now, but it was predicted that it would gradually keel over and be almost completely submerged. At the time of the accident, the ship had a crew of eight who were all rescued. It was subsequently confirmed in the Lloyd's List that the competency certificates for the Greek Captain and the Pakistani first officer were forgeries, which may account for why the ship ended up on the rocks.
