Remembrance Sunday Poppy Drop [1]

Today in Britain is Remembrance Sunday, and at 11:00 GMT, a two-minute silence was held across the country to honour the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, and those of the Commonwealth and other Allies that fought alongside us and the civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars and later conflicts.

Shortly after 11am a vintage Dakota from WW2 flying at 500 feet dropped three-quarters of a million bio-degradable poppies over the cliffs below that formed a welcoming sight for the soldiers returning from Dunkirk in 1940.
