The Glen of the Faeries
This is a mysterious area between the villages of Sheader and Balnacnoc on the Trotternish Penisula in the North end of the island of Skye.
Geologists may tell you that these unique geological formations are the result of a landslip, but the locals know better.
Many people here believe that faeries created this dramatic landscape and still dwell within its many crevices. Who am I to argue? My first wife was Irish, and she swore she had seen a leprechaun. And that in the middle of the day and she hadn't been drinking....
