The Funicular
This is the Funicular that runs from the banks of River Danube up to the Buda Castle. It has been in service since 1870, and was the second funicular railway operating in Europe.
The funicular had been meticulously reconstructed and rebuilt in a vintage style after being completely destroyed in a WWII bombing raid.
It’s the easiest way to get up the hill but we always walked. I hate queues…..
