HISTORY

Pillar completed 14th September 1948 costing £17.0s.0d. Computed as tertiary triangulation station NZ42/T10, and levelled to second class precision during 1948. Last maintained by the OS in July 1983.

 

SITE VISIT

Pillar in good condition. Spider centre plugged with shooth brown plaster. Flush bracket faces ESE, ~103°. Vented through NW sight hole. Memorial plaque to farmer on NE face. 360° open outlook.
