HISTORY

Pillar completed 2nd May 1948 costing £5.6s.0d. Computed as tertiary triangulation station NO42/T25 within the Dundee block during 1948. Levelled for height to first class precision, secondary standards in March 1970.

 

SITE VISIT

Trig pillar in fine condition. Flush bracket faces westerly towards perimeter fence. In secured area occupied by disused empty reservoir. Gates chained together using padlock, but breathe in and you can just squeeze through.
