Second Geodetic Levelling, Scotland (1936-52).

Flush bracket G918 was used during the Second geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 554.435 feet above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Banchory to Rhynie levelling line. Geodetic line G.205, levelled during 1944. The surveyor's description was N face, NE angle of garage, S side of road.

 

This marker was last verified in 1975. The OS Online Archive gives the description "garage, NW face N angle".

 

SITE VISIT
