Beach boy Indy says "Thank you my Friends"
Had it confirmed yesterday that the proposed leash law was not included in the Dog Control Order for Llanfairfechan. The beach ban area has been almost halved because they had to allow for access for disabled dog walkers. Thank you to everyone who wrote to the Conwy County Council and for all your support and advice in the past months. You have made a big difference to the quality of everyday life for the dog walkers of Llanfairfechan.
UPDATE in 2019
In 2011 Conwy County Council lied and said the dogs on lead proposal wasn't made in 2009, after a lot of illegality they passed the dogs on lead order contrary to the 2011 public consultation and have since made our lives a misery. Still trying to get the County to admit the truth but no luck yet.
But I will never give up. If anyone has copies of the original 2009 dogs on lead proposal please let me know as the council have destroyed all public record of the proposals.
