I startet this trip right where the Loire river meets the Atlantic Ocean. There are still many heavily armoured bunkers from WW2 to be seen including a bunker complex for German submarines on the other side of the bridge. St. Nazaire remained occupied until the very end of WW2.
Beginn meiner Einradtour an der Loire Mündung in den Atlantik. Am anderen Ufer kann man immer noch die Deutschen U-Boot Bunker vom 2. Weltkrieg besichtigen. St. Nazaire blieb unter Deutscher Besetzung bis zum Kriegsende.
