Ich folge der Donau die sich im oberen Teil tief in die Schwäbische Alb eingegraben hat. Sehenswert ist die Barockkirche in Beuron, das Schloss Werenwag im Besitz der Familie Fürstenberg sowie das Schloss Sigmaringen, Sitz der berühmten Hohenzollern Dynastie.
