France has some of the finest bike routes I have ever seen. They often follow the tow paths along the canals formerly used by horses to pull the boats (before they had engines). Slow traffic is quickly growing and sustainable tourism became a significant economic factor along my route. There are so many traffic free bike routes or small roads shared by slow and regular traffic.
Dieser Radweg quer durch Frankreich ist etwas vom Feinsten das ich je gesehen habe. Er benützt oft ehemalige Treidelpfade entlang den Kanälen auf denen früher die Pferde die Boote zogen. Die Radwege sind meistens verkehrsfrei oder benützen verkehrsarme Strassen (fair share signalisiert). Slow traffic und nachhaltiger Tourismus sind, entlang meiner Route, zu einem bedeutenden Wirtschaftsfaktor geworden.
