A Few Weeks into Growth
These plants are only two inches tall. They have been growing for several weeks, but with the cold nights of Fall weather in Kansas, they grow very slowly compared with tray grown, hot house wheatgrass. The seeds are planted in rows seven inches apart. The roots are already spreading out bringing in nutrients from the soil. The full days of bright sunlight are making the grass darker and darker green as chlorophyll, vitamins, enzymes and phytonutrients become more concentrated.
