Baia Mare: muzeul de etnografie

The Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art in Baia Mare is a county museum in Baia Mare. The Museum operates in the current building in 1971. The pavilion exhibition of ethnography and folk art has three distinct parts, in which are presented: main and secondary traditional occupations, crafts and technical installations, objects of folk art, ceramics, furniture, objects of use house, elements of folk architecture, port and interior textiles, from the four ethnographic areas of the county (Chioar, Codru, Lăpuş, Maramureş).

The Village Museum, inaugurated in 1984 in the picturesque landscape on Flower Hill (6 ha), includes monuments from the four ethnographic areas of Maramureş County grouped around the wooden church brought from Chechiş.
