Casi siempre cuando fotografío odonatos, sobre todo a los zigopteros que son tan pequeñitos y delgaditos, quiero conseguir capturas muy cercanas para poder disfrutar de todos sus detalles. En esta ocasión me gustó mucho esta visón mas amplia de su entorno.
Se trata de una hembra de Calopteryx xanthostoma.
Es una especie que habita lugares con buenas condiciones ambientales, generalmente en aguas con suficiente oxígeno, en el curso medio y alto de los ríos que atraviesan bosques y arboledas, en las riberas de los ríos.
En la siguiente fotografia detallaré sus características morfológicas.
Almost always when I photograph the odonata, especially the zygoptera that are so tiny and thin, I want to get very close shots to be able to enjoy all their details. On this occasion I really liked this broader vision of its environment.
It is a female Calopteryx xanthostoma.
It is a species that inhabits places with good environmental conditions, generally in waters with sufficient oxygen in the middle and upper reaches of rivers that cross forests and groves, on the riverbanks.
