Custom Lego: Doctor Strange

I finished this a while ago surprisingly, but was too lazy to post it until now. I made this after seeing Daring Customs' and Jerdfigs' versions and was heavily inspired by them.

 

The hair is the old Superman hair with the curl cut off and the strands sculpted on and painted.

 

The face is the one from the Elf Archer from that Hobbit polybag, with facial hair painted on.

 

The cape was actually from a purist Doctor Strange I made a couple of years ago, but trimmed a bit to fit this figure better.

 

The robes are cut from a lego pirate ship sail I got from Dylan. Originally the wrinkles were just in black, but I thought blue highlights would look good with the black. I like them a lot.

 

The belts is electrical tape. This probably bares the most similarities with Jerdfigs' version. The slingring and other little bits are sculpted out of procreate.

 

The time spell is cut from the plastic box procreate comes in. The energy whip is from a lego antennae piece.

 

I took a couple of artistic liberties with this figure. One of which was not adding the wraps to his forearms and ankles. I think it looks better without them.
