The commitment
After a couple of conversations with Gonzalo Luis and I were in to develop the mobile app. We started working on our free time, nights, and weekends, to bring the first version of the app to life. InsightMedi was launched in September 2013 under the name of InstaMedi (little known fact) with a ton of features. I guess we were not so Lean back then.
In May 2014 Juan left his job and started working full time on the project followed by Luis (on August that same year) who left his position as a database developer at IBM.
Trust us when we tell you that leaving your "steady" job to join a startup takes a whole new meaning when you're a foreigner, and your ability to stay in the new country depends on you having a job.
That's our definition of commitment.
