darkest & reddish bill = Heermann's Gull HEEG* (Larus heermanni)

 

 

& (Largest)

Glaucous-winged Gull GWGU (Larus glaucescens)

 

& back (ithink) is

California Gull (CAGU Larus californicus)

SO our numbers for returning HEEG are remarkably low this year

They should be back here in decent numbers by now and from what i gather ,there have only been smatterings - even to the NW states
