Nike Savvas – Liberty and Anarchy

Made by an Australian Artist; this is an installation made from taut plastic, brightly colored ribbons. The piece in question was inspired by the Op Art movement in the 1960s. This is an example of Optical Mixture – aside from being an installation, the colors utilized (such as the yellow and violets) create an immense amount of depth for such a simple design.
