After weeks of preparation and information gathering Aliah Yr Shakira Al Rashid Yi Calimport wielder of phenomenal cosmic power and slayer of iffriti (22) and her companions head to the surface and lay an ambush for the slaver convoy that will be passing by. her friends in position she set off the trap, using her earth magic to great a massive wall to separate the hobgoblin slavers from the enslaved citizens of the now conquered city of Durpar. her teammates unleash their various abilities following her queue. the cleric uses her divine magic to rain holy fire and wipe out half the slavers in one attack. the infernal blooded rouge launches his psychic assaults on more goblinoids, the plasminoid Warrior enlarges herself and unleashes the fury of her lightning sword about several more foes, the angelic child singer animates his toys to challenge the weaker goblins.
Seeing her love among the slaves Aliah creates a massive feminine hand out of sand and scoops Djamilla up to carry her to safety. the corpses of the many slain goblin rise and merge together creating a pair of massive skeletal juggernauts. the clerics easily vanquishes one, but the other makes it's way to the rocky outcropping where Aliah had the hand place her love, the angel child was also on these rocks, but fled for his life at the first sign of danger leaving the defenseless lover of the geomancer warlock on her own. seeing this Aliah abandons the confrontation with her nemesis in favor of protecting the woman she loves, leaving her quarry to the cleric's magic weapon.
the huge statue the slaves were being made to pulls shattered and a monstrous scorpion beast emerged the rest of the party harried the arachnid man while aliah fought off the skeletal abomination on her own swinging her blade made of pure darkness and occasionally firing a cosmic blast at the scorpion, she gave her love enough time to get to safety the sandy hand still interposing itself between her and any danger. the cleric and warrior wearing the scorpion beast down while the infernal dagger flinger recovers from the effects of it's strange magic, eventually the rouge gets the final hit channeling all his rage into one attack psychically eviscerating the arachnid. the skeletal juggernaut crumbles at Aliah's feet, it's the source of it's necrotic life force being slain.
With all the danger defeated and comforting words given to the surviving slaves, Aliah rushes to Djamilla wrapping her in a loving embrace and a deep kiss before taking her hand and leading her to the impaled corpse of the man who caused all this suffering, the lesser warlock met a fitting end, Aliah wished she was the one to do it, but Djamilla's safety took priority. searching his body she recovers the silver sword she and Djamilla gave to the latter's father as a gift, a final keepsake of the great man murdered by a bandit as his greed...
Aliah traveled with the warrior woman and the infernal rouge, parting ways with the kind cleric and angelic child, they escorted the survivors to the nearest port city and left them in the care of the authorities. Aliah then took Djamilla home to Calimshan, back to their mansion and trading empire, they took the warrior and rouge with them to act as bodyguards and trusted friends as the two calishite women settle into a live of marital bliss. and eventually with the use of strange genie magic Aliah would give birth to Djamilla's children, twin boys they would name after their respective fathers. Karim and Ali. the two noble women, now covered in scars, both physical and mental finally enjoy some normalcy after two years of utter hell and suffering.
