When the priestess opened her eyes and snapped out of her trance, she found herself in the strange mist. Was she the sign that she asked so much of the gods?-She thought. -It was then that she felt a presence and looked back, what she saw was beyond her mundane comprehension. An extremely beautiful man and woman, though as pale as moonlight, had appeared out of nowhere behind her, seemed to walk through the mists as they made no sound, in fact strangely she realized that any and all sounds, including the crackle of flames in the torches, had disappeared. The priestess then proceeded to examine them better, although it was the only thing she could do, as she couldn't take her eyes off them, she was fascinated by the beauty and grandeur of the couple, were certainly sent from the gods. He seemed to be the image of the War God Ares himself, already she the Goddess of Beauty Aphrodite, though with the pallor that sported, might well be Hades and Persephone. A fear gripped the priestess, but she was paralyzed, she could not and did not want to do anything against them, who approached calmly through the mist that seemed to follow them. The strange mist had already covered the entire temple, when the priestess had realized that the beautiful woman was at her side, lightly stroking her hair. Her touch was gentle as the breeze of the evening by the sea, her hand was light as a feather and soft as silk. That caress was almost maternal and conveyed security to the young priestess, to the point that all fear of her ceased. Continue...
