Rogues vs Suicide Squad #12

Captain Boomerang jumps from behind the wall and throws a boomerang at Sergeant Boomerang. He throws a boomerang back and he hits Captain Boomerang's boomerang out of the air.

 

CB: "Who do think you are? Taking my place, my gimmic, my thang!"

 

SB: "I never thought to encouter you so soon, but now that you're here, I'll show you I'm a better Boomerang, than you have ever been."

 

CB: "Well, you little wanker! Let me show you who the real Boomerang is!"

 

The Captain throws multiple boomerangs at the Sergeant, who counter attacks and throws all of them out of the air.

 

CB: "I must say, you're good kid. But not as good as me."

 

SB: "You're really not getting it, do you?"

 

CB: "What should I be getting?"

 

SB: "Don't I look familliar to you?!"

 

CB: "What? Did I ever mug you or something, or kill someone you loved."

 

SB: "For gods sake! I'm your son!"

 

Digger starts taking a closer look, and then notices how much Owen looks like him.

 

CB: "Holy hell... Y- you do look a bit like me."

 

SB: "My name is Owen Mercer. Does that ring a bell? Mercer?"

 

CB: "I did have a one night stand 19 years ago, with someone called Erica Mercer."

 

SB: "My mother."

 

CB: "Oh my god..."

 

Digger leans against the wall so he wouldn't fall over.

 

CB: "I- I didn't know she was pregnant."

 

SB: "Wait, what."

 

CB: "I didn't know! She never told me. She never reached out to me."

 

SB: "I- I didn't know that."

 

CB: "How could I abandon you if I even didn't know you existed!?"

 

SB: "I'm sorry... I thought you knew... That's why I wanted you to suffer."

 

CB: "Well, I didn't know! But I'm happy I do now."

 

SB: "Huh? Why?"

 

CB: "I might be an alcohol-adicted-boomerang-throwing-murdering-supervillain, but I did always want a son."

 

SB: "Really?"

 

CB: "Yeah."

 

SB: "I- I didn't-"

 

Before Owen could finish his sentence, Golden Glider kicks Digger in his bullocks.

 

CB: "Ohw! Me goolies!"

 

GG: "Stay away from him, Digger! You've done enough to him!"

 

SB: "Lisa! Wait! It's not like-"

 

Owen can't finish his sentence again, because he gets shot in the shoulder by Deadshot.

 

SB: "Aargh!"

 

GG: "Owen!"

 

Digger kicks Glider off of him and gets in a fist fight with her.

 

BT over comm: "Deadshot, focus on King Shark. Black Spider has eyes on Boomerang."

 

DS: "Got it."

 

BT: "Spider, Sergeant Boomerang is wounded, take him down while you can."

 

BS: "Understood."

 

King Shark tackles Heatwave before he can fire his heatgun. Shark throws Mick against the wall, but before he can kill him, Weather Wizard electrocutes him with a thunderbolt. Shark walks towards Weather Wizard, but the thunderbolt hits him really hard. Heatwave gets up and starts to fire his heatgun at Shark as well. Shark is in a lot of pain while he is being electrocuted and burned. Shark almost gives up, but then Deadshot shoots Heatwave in the shoulder, taking him out. That gives Shark the chance to tackle Weather Wizard, taking him out too.
