Batfamily: one bad day #4

Tim and I arrive at Arkham. We walk through the hallway on our way to doctor Arkham.

 

Rbn: "So who is this Arianna Arkham anyway?"

 

BM: "She's the daughter of Jerimiah Arkham. She's new and became a doctor here."

 

Rbn: "Doesn't she blame you after what happened to her father."

 

BM: "She knows it's not my fault Jerimiah went insane."

 

Rbn: "Aren't you afraid that she's also becoming insane. I mean it happened to her father and grandfather."

 

BM: "Amadeus and Jerimiah were both the directors of Arkham. She's only a doctor. She only sees wounded, dead or comatosed patients, no manipulating ones, like Joker or Riddler."

 

Rbn: "Let's hope you're right."

 

We enter doctor Arkham's medical facility. Joker's Daughter lies on a hospital bed in a coma.

 

BM: "Hello, doctor Arkham. Good to finally meet you."

 

AA: "Please, just call me Arianna. I'm not very proud of my last name."

 

Rbn: "Understandable. So, ehehm, Arianna, what do you got for us?"

 

AA: "Glad you asked, Robin."

 

Tim starts to blush. Don't tell me he likes the new doctor in Arkham...

 

AA: "I found something very interesting. She was shot in the leg by a K2. Almost destroyed her whole leg, but she'll heal."

 

Rbn: "Bummer..."

 

BM: "Not now, Robin. What else?"

 

AA: "I also found something very intriguing. The bullets and the shells, have red batsymbols on them."

 

BM: "Batsymbols?"

 

Rbn: "Yeah, take a look."

 

Arianna hands me a bullet.

 

BM: "Oh god..."

 

AA: "I presume you don't use guns. Do you think there's a copycat who's trying to frame you?"

 

BM: "No... It's much worse."

 

Rbn: "What is it?"

 

BM: "We have to get back to the Batcave. Contact Nightwing and Batgirl. I have to explain something to them, and you."

 

Rbn: "Uuhm, okay."

 

BM: "Thanks, Arianna. You've helped us a lot."

 

AA: "Yeah, no problem, I guess. I'll see you around then."

 

On the way out, Tim asks me why we have to hurry back to the Batcave.

 

Rbn: "Why do we have to go back to the cave?"

 

BM: "Because we need to locate Joker as soon as possible."

 

Rbn: "Why?"

 

BM: "Because I know who wants to find him, and probably kill him."
