Nightwing: City in ruïns #27

Inside Huntress and Azrael got each on their catwalks. We both looked down and the room was divided, on the side where Huntress was standing on the catwalk, were Black Mask's men and on the other side, where Azrael was standing on the catwalk, there were men dressed in red and black so I guess those are supposed to be under Harley's command. But no sign of Harley or Spider. I guess they are all in Joker's office. When Azrael looks up, he sees he's totally wrong. He sees Black Spider sneaking up on Huntress on the opposite catwalk. He wants to yell at her but then Azrael gets hit on the head with a blund object. He then feels something being wrapped around his leg and he then gets pushed over the ledge, dropping his sword. When he looks up he sees Harley standing on the catwalk with her bat.

 

HQ: "Payback's a bitch!"

 

While Azrael looks around, he sees Huntress, handcuffed and almost knocked out, being dragged down the catwalk by Spider. He puts her on the ground while Harley also comes down. Huntress almost knocked out and Azrael hanging upside down from the catwalk, he hopes Nightwing might come in to save them and take down the thugs, Spider and Harley. But when the front door opens, that hope gets lost pretty quick.

 

When the door opens, Deathstroke steps in while he drags me inside.

 

Azrl: "Son of a-"

 

And before Azrael can finish his sentence, Harley smacks him with her bat.

 

HQ: "Shuts your mouth, Angelguy."

 

I slowly wake up and I see Huntress is handcuffed in front of Spider and Black Mask's men, and I see Azrael hanging upside down from the catwalk next to Harley and her men. Then I remember what happened: Deathstroke showed up and knocked me out. I notice one other thing though, I'm not tied up or handcuffed or anything. I can use that to my advantage.

 

BS: "Hey Slade, look who's awake."

 

DS: "Hey Birdboy, already awake?"

 

NW: "Fuck you, Slade."

 

DS: "Watch your language."

 

He punshes me in the face and then kicks me in the stumach.

 

DS: "Harley might copy that language."

 

HQ: "It's adorable that you think that I don't use that kinda language, captain One-eye."

 

DS: "Easy, crazy bitch. I can pop your head easily right now."

 

BS: "Easy, Slade. We're here for an allience, not for a fight, with Joker at least."

 

DS: "As long as I can kill Birdboy over here."

 

HQ: "As long as I can use Angelguy here as a pigñata."

 

BS: "..."

 

DS: "..."

 

HQ: "What?"

 

BS and DS: "Nothing."

 

I look at Huntress and I see she's waking up slowly. I try to signal Azrael that he needs to fire a shurken at Huntress her cuffs after my signal. Azrael notices and I guess he understands it. Now we wait.
