An den Ufern des Flusses Nicesolo kann man die typischen Behausungen der Lagunenfischer sehen. In früheren Zeiten boten die Casoni Schutz und Heimstatt für die Bauern, Fischer und Jäger des Veneto. Mit ihren schrägen Dächern aus Stroh und Schilf kann man sie bereits aus der Ferne erkennen, man findet sie an den Uferzonen und sumpfigen Lichtungen.

Along the riverbank Sulle sponde del fiume Nicesolo it is possible to admire the ancient place of the lagoon fishing. In the days gone by, the casoni were home and shelter used by farmers, fishermen, and venetian hunters. Sails of straw and straight reeds on the edges where water and land meet each other, along the misty borders of the low tide, over the sandbank of the inner lagoons, in the marshy clearings of the hills.

Sulle sponde del fiume Nicesolo è possibile ammirare le antiche abitazioni appartenenti alla tradizionale pesca in laguna. Un tempo i casoni erano casa e riparo per agricoltori, pescatori, cacciatori veneti. Si riconoscono fin da lontano per il tetto spiovente di paglia e canne e sorgono dove acqua e terra di fondono lungo i profili brumosi delle basse, sopra le barene delle lagune interne, dentro le radure paludose.
