* Custom made Bulletproof armour that is an upgraded version of Vacuum's suit. This suit allows her to absorb all the oxygen from her surroundings in a larger radius and cause a temporary vacuum for a longer time (3minutes) than the original villain, Vacuum.

Key Weakness: Her obsession with Vacuum actually limits her true villain potential.

 

Origin:

Rita was raised in Russia since she was a child where she was idolised as a beauty pageant queen and a famous supermodel all throughout her life until she fell in love with Victor Manson, otherwise known as the villain Vacuum. Victor was enjoying his last few weeks of freedom before returning back to the military as their lead scientist. The two bonded on an emotional and physical level then eventually fell in love, she told him there was something missing from her life and he convinced her to join a secret Russian Military program he went through to become an assassin. Something about being an assassin appealed to Rita, the aspect of being more than a showgirl influenced her into accepting and the two were forced to part ways.

 

Years later in the Russian Military she quickly discovered she had an unquenchable bloodlust and famished appetite for violence, this acted as a stimulant to do the jobs others wouldn't and earn extra credit. Over time she went from Supermodel to deadly killer all whilst retaining her stunning looks and attraction to Victor who kept in touch. Despite her background she had the second highest overall kill count in the Military Program, second to Victor's score. However after passing the program with excellent marks she was informed that Victor had fled Russia to Avalon City after spending years on developing some sort of Super Suit and killing off 3 of his Lab Partners who studied his work. He even burned all the schematics and erased all data of his work so nobody could recreate it, Rita felt betrayed by his actions until she discovered he hid one of the blueprints of his suit in her locker with a message of his current location.

 

With this Intel someone in Rita's position would have turned him in but she decided against it and days later left Russia after faking her death to be with Victor. When she arrived in Avalon City with the schematics of the suit she discovered that Victor was going by the alias 'Vacuum' and witnessed his defeat on live television at the hands of two sibling heroes, The Kingston's. Vacuum was then imprisoned and Rita engineered the suit from the blueprints provided by him to break Vacuum out, months later she managed to complete the suit and organised a jailbreak. Only to discover that he had already broke out, she eventually located him but seen he was obsessed with The Kingston's after his defeat and had no time for anyone else.

 

With this is mind she began working as an assassin for T.O.X.I.N. under the alias 'Gasp' due to her victims gasping for air when she uses her suits abilities. T.O.X.I.N. in exchange for her services provided her with state of the art technology to upgrade her suit over Vacuum's current design making her an improvement of the original. Now that her beloved is locked up in one of the most top security prisons she will put an end to the Kingston's and break him free going by the name, Gasp.
