Retro Growler
A nice retro scene created by D6948 as it crosses Sandbourne Viaduct with a rake of maroon Mk.1 coaches.
D6948 dates back to 1964 and was preserved in 2009.
The loco is beautifully preserved by the Growler Group and is usually resident at the Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway. It was visiting the Severn Valley Railway for their '65 Years Of Class 37s' event.
The Growler nickname comes from the loco's distinctive engine noise.
