Scrabble protest

-The Me Too (or #MeToo) movement, with variations of related local or international names,

is a social movement against sexual abuse and sexual harassment where people publicize

allegations of sex crimes. The phrase "Me Too" was initially used in this context on social

media in 2006, on Myspace, by sexual harassment survivor and activist Tarana Burke.

Similar to other social justice and empowerment movements based upon breaking silence, the

purpose of "Me Too", as initially voiced by Burke as well as those who later adopted the

tactic, is to empower sexually assaulted individuals through empathy and solidarity through

strength in numbers, especially young and vulnerable men and women, by visibly demonstrating

how many have survived sexual assault and harassment, especially in the workplace

-Scrabble is a word game in which two to four players score points by placing tiles, each bearing

a single letter, onto a game board divided into a 15×15 grid of squares. The tiles must form words

that, in crossword fashion, read left to right in rows or downward in columns, and be included in

a standard dictionary or lexicon.

-The letters have been nailed to an apple that is rotting, as a simile of the situation of social

values that no longer have a place in the 21st century
