The ramp of Lufthansa Technik at Hamburg Airport was the ramp for helicopters of the Federal Police of Germany and state police.
The Federal Police Helicopter Training Unit trains all Police helicopter pilots in Germany.
These young pilots and their instructors conduct a flight across Germany with stop overs at different airports.
One issue during these flights is formation flying, navigation skills etc.
EC135, EC145 and EC155 could be spotted at Hamburg. Beside Federal Police Helicopters (D-HLTL, D-HVBE, D-HVBF, D-HVBX, D-HVBU) there were Helicopters from Bayern (D-HBPE), Thüringen (D-HTHC), Sachsen (D-HSNE) and Brandenburg (D-HBBZ)
