Goddesses on the Lake

In parkland beside Lake Kawaguchiko stands this brown the bronze by Gakunyo Nasu well known disciple of Japan's greatest scupltor Seibo Kitamura. The subjects are the famous goddesses of the Sengen Shrine, Konohananasakuyahime and Iwanagahime, who are believed to bring wellbeing to the Mt Fuji region of Japan.
