On the Way to School
Daily numerous young people tread the paths beside Currumbin Creek on the way to school without mishap. Sometimes something unforeseen happens. I don't know where this football came from. Perhaps it just floated by or alternatively it belonged to the boys. Whatever, the older boy was determined to get it out. Very carefully he tried and tried to get it, throwing rocks strategically behind the ball to let the resultant wave push it closer. As you can see the younger boy (brother I guess) was keen to see the the ball retrieved safely. He waited nervously as any touch nudged the ball away. Finally, the ball was rescued with much delight and the pair headed off to school. Something always happens on my early morning walk!
