Confused Ladybird

I found this little 5mm creature, a Transverse Lady Bird Beetle (Coccinella transversalis), meandering on this small tomato for about ten minutes on my kitchen window sill. I am not sure if it was hunting for aphids, looking for a way off, or figuring how to mate with its new best friend.
