El color de los Odonatos
Los Odonatos emprenden el primer vuelo cuando secan las alas, en ese momento han adquirido el tamaño definitivo y sabremos de su edad por su coloración.
Para ello debemos conocer el color del adulto. En este caso vemos a un macho joven de Calopteryx haemorrhoidalis y sabremos que es joven por las bandas blanquecinas en el tórax, y los tonos acaramelados de alas ya que el adulto será casi oscuro totalmente en todo su cuerpo. La parte menos coloreada de la base de las alas la conservará.
