Ischnura pumilio. Male
We went to the rice fields looking for the females and I could not photograph them but I found this male near the riverbank.
It is distinguished from elegans and graellsii because in this species the caudal light (the blue of last segments) occupies the ninth and the contiguous part of the eighth.
Taken on a stretch of the Segura river, near Calasparra (Murcia) Spain
