Los machos de los Odonatos cuando van a proceder a la cópula hacen la transferencia de esperma de la genitalia primaria situada entre el octavo y noveno segmento (en la cara ventral) a la genitalia secundaria, el pene propiamente dicho, situado entre el primer y segundo segmento abdominal también en la cara ventral.
De lo que he podido observar, en los Zygópteros siempre se produce cuando el macho ya ha cogido a la hembra, no así en los Anisópteros.

The males of the Odonatos when going to proceed to the copulation do the transfer of sperm of the primary genitalia located between the eighth and ninth segment (in the ventral side) to the secondary genitalia, the penis proper, located between the first and second abdominal segment also on the ventral side.
From what I have seen, in the Zygópteros always occurs when the male has already caught the female, not so in the Anisoptera.
