Hyperspatial Wizardry

"Wizards and witches of the Firmament exist in an awkward in-between: always the oddest among ordinary company, and the dullest among the weird and fantastic. They hold at their fingertips the secrets of the cosmos and the keys to hyperspace, playing the strings of existence like a lyre with wand and incantation. And yet, they stand alone—a race apart—caught between mere mortals and the Fey of hyperspatial realms, wandering the Void on craft unrivaled, propelled by drive crystals of enchantment unfathomable, untrusted and trusting no one. Accompanied only by the two or three apprentices they take in their wanderings twixt mortal orbs and wilder dimensions, passing secrets from master to student in a cosmic chain unending."

—Excerpt from the Mortal's Grimoire, of which there remain no complete copies intact.

...

At last! After far longer than I would've liked, I return to the space-fantasy universe I first created with my cherished Space Orcs build! I think I had a name for this (it's not really Spastle, I don't think), but I can't remember what it was. Other than cool, of course.

Seriously, though, I rather adore this, though I couldn't quite say why. A lone wizarding wandering the outer vestiges of space, warping from dimension to dimension, accompanied by fey and strange apprentices. I can't wait to do more in this vibe.
