Oiled HW Stock

The HW 100K stock. Germanically efficient. Germanically ugly.

 

If you look closely at the area around the inletting you can see where my sanding has revealed lighter-coloured high spots. This indicates wood stain having been removed by the sanding.

 

And the stock is meant to be walnut! Why stain walnut? Even with a cheaper grade, please leave it as it comes HW!
