A Candid Shot of an Elephant Booking Office

Again, we can still see a little bit of the Indian Great Wall in the furthest part of the picture just above the mountain, however sketchy that is. Moreover, the way and the idea the arch is shaped here came from lotus flower.

 

This is a business similar to horse driven carriages in Europe taking tourists to points of attraction-- and here in this case the Amber Fort. This is a fast dwindling business, for even though the elephant drivers themselves are taking nominal wages, elephants eats a lot, much more than horses. Moreover, we are now very much into a global economic downturn which means there are less and less tourists. On the other hand, the rise and modernization of India means better job opportunities, together with the super inflation rate everywhere world round, there is a real chance that the office will soon be a thing of the past within a decade or so.
