Bucharest: Biserica Kretzulescu Orthodox Church of 1720s

This brick Orthodox church stands on the Calea Victoriei, the main historical thoroughfare of Bucharest.

 

This architectural style is called Brâncovenesc or Romanian Renaissance and us generally austere on the outside and with a wall of icons decorating the altar.
