Southbank Place - 8 Casson Square, a 30-story residential by Patel Taylor Architects
It's difficult to make out this block, one of three 30+ story residential buildings that form part of the Southbank Place quarter. The alignment of windows is obscure and there is this strange indented centre bay that seems to be all over the place!
When this first made its appearance I thought it would stand above the other high rise concoctions, with the design of the windows, but then something went wrong, and it now looks a bit of a mess.
Unfortunately the 'misalignment' of punctured windows is repeated on the other sides, although since there is a broad wall of windows most observers wouldn't perhaps notice it. This photo is taken from the main road and, as it is so busy, pedestrians don't hang around, so perhaps not so important to the layman.
