New Discovery: Pisces VII / Triangulum III

Pisces VII / Triangulum III

Pisces VII is one of the faintest dwarf galaxy detected beyond the Milky Way at 820 kpc (2.6 milion light years). Pisces VII is an ultra faint dwarf (UFD) first seen in DECam images, and followed by the TNG. It is quite close in projection to M33 so is a possible very small satellite.

It is my second discovery in this topic, and is described in a study led by David Martínez-Delgado et al.
