Wild Irises, Bishop

The wild irises in Bishop bloom around May. This was the first time I was able to spend a little time in the Eastern Sierras and Bishop are in the spring. During this time of year wild irises carpet the fields around the town of Bishop. Even though it was an early morning I enjoyed running around finding the best field of wild irises. With the beginning of the alpenglow the eastern sierras really lit up. This was one of those classic shots of the Bishop irises.
