Sunrise on the Towers of the Virgin, Zion

The sunrise on the Towers of the Virgin that morning was the best sunrises I've seen in a while. It’s not easy getting up for sunrise especially if you have two time changes! Thanks to Daylight Savings time and Mountain time I thought I had an extra hour to sleep in. So I enjoyed my coffee and leisurely made my way to the Zion shuttle. Well as I was riding the bus I looked out the window and saw some pink in the clouds and then I realized my miscalculation. I was going nuts stuck on a shuttle watching the clouds light up. Trying to figure out where to go, I exited at the first stop at the Towers of the Virgin and made a b-line for the field. I was running as fast as I could. In front of me were thirty other photographers so I had to make sure I didn’t get in front of their shots. I was sprinting in and out of the bushes. I finally hit is some rabbit bushes and fired away. There was just a couple minutes to get my shots and then the light disappeared! That sunrise was incredible!
