Maison Beaudry
Built around 1732, this magnificent home is one of the jewels inherited from the French Regime. It is the oldest house in Pointe-aux-Trembles. The building belongs to traditional Quebecois architecture. The gallery was added around 1820-1830. In 1979 the house was proclaimed an historic monument by the Minister of Cultural Affairs of Quebec. The City of Montreal acquired the building and the land in 1983. Restored in 1996-1997 it is now a center for culture and the arts.
