What is a character from a 42 year old movie doing representing The Future of Blythe? I want to have hope, but it seems more realistic when I envision a future:
....in which we have the technology to explore the galaxy and discover new planets and life forms, but have been pushed to do so after destroying our own planet.
....in which giant corporations act with little regard for the safety and well being of their employees, or of humanity in general.
.....in which humans have managed to reduce the wonder of scientific exploration to profit and greed.
