Night Flowers

Due to the heavy rains ( I think) we are having an early bloom in the Borrego Springs area of San Diego.

I was out at night trying to catch the comet in the night sky to no avail but I was happy to see all the flowers blooming.

The purple flowers are Desert Sand Verbena, Abronia villosa

Nyctaginaceae.

The white flowers are Dune Evening Primrose, Oenothera deltoides ssp. deltoides

Onagraceae

The yellow orange flowers are Desert Sunflower, Geraea canescens

Asteraceae

7 images focus stacked for the foreground ISO 100, 24mm, f/8, 1 second exposures.

1 tracked image for the sky

ISO 400, 24mm, f/1.4, 60 second exposure.
