Tree Topper

A crescent moon aligns with the top of a Christmas tree of lights on the end of Scripps Pier in La Jolla.

 

I was shooting sunset in this area and on my way out when I noticed the crescent moon in the sky and realized that it would line up with the top of the tree as it descended, so I decided to stay and shoot.
