Uncommon Sight in 2024

CP 2308 (GP20C-ECO) and CP 6069 (SD40-2), two standard cab leaders, were pressed into service as the power of an unusual second section of CPKC intermodal train 148 (numbered 2-148), and are seen here hustling the stack train around the curve on UP's Milwaukee Subdivision in Des Plaines, IL.

 

A slight camera lag caused an unfortunate misfire, causing the left photo edge to be way too compressed, but at least I came away with something.
