KCS 2016 on I47 - Ghost in the Night
KCS 2016, a relatively rare "Grey Ghost" GP38-2, is assigned to CPKC's I47 job out of Bensenville Yard, serving local industries in the Schaumburg are on T-Th and the Mars / Newlyweds plants on the Elgin / C&M Subs, respectively, on M-W-F.
Here, the little Geep returns from switching out Newlyweds and passes underneath the Milwaukee-era searchlights at Tower B-17 in Franklin Park, IL at 2 am.
Unfortunately, I had some technical difficulties with my flashes so I didn't get nearly enough light on the subject, but what little ambient light there was at hand was enough to produce an interesting looking effect nonetheless (albeit with some very heavy photo processing).
